Description

The Citronic CUBA-8 is a passive full-range PA speaker built around a wooden enclosure with a hard-wearing polyurea coating and a powder-coated steel grille. It uses custom designed high power LF (low frequency) and HF (high frequency) drivers, with the main driver and an efficient HF compression or dome tweeter working alongside the tuned enclosure. The result is a balanced output across the frequency range, suited to professional sound reinforcement.

Connections sit on the rear panel, with either 2 x Speakon sockets or a single Speakon plus 4mm binding posts, depending on the model. This lets you link onto additional speakers as your setup grows. Each cabinet has two side handles for handling and a 35mm pole mount socket for stand mounting. The rear also carries two different bevels, so you can angle the cabinet for ground level placement or use it in a suspended array. Multiple M8 flying points are inset for rigging, and the CUBA-8 is supplied with a U-bracket.

With an 8 Ohm impedance and MDF construction under the polyurea finish, the CUBA-8 is one of three cabinets in the range alongside the CUBA-6 and CUBA-10. We recommend pairing it with Citronic PLX, D and H-series amplifiers for high power work. Whether you need fixed installation, mobile PA or general reinforcement, the CUBA-8 gives you a rugged cabinet that handles plenty of power and links cleanly with other units.
