Description
The Citronic CUBA-6A is an active full-range PA speaker cabinet built around a class-D bi-amplifier. It puts out 100W and keeps things lightweight, so it stays easy to carry and set up. The enclosure is texture-coated MDF with a powder-coated steel grille, giving you a plain, hard-wearing finish that copes with regular use.
Inputs cover most needs. There is a switchable Mic/line input on XLR or jack, plus a line input that takes RCA, XLR or jack. A built-in Bluetooth receiver lets you play wirelessly from a phone or tablet, and an XLR line output means you can link cabinets together. The 5-preset DSP section handles EQ and dynamics, with Normal, DJ, Voice, Live and Flat profiles, and it can extend the response down to low resonant frequencies for full-range output across the audio spectrum.
Placement is flexible. Each cabinet has two side handles and a 35mm pole-mount socket (also called a top hat) for stand mounting. The rear carries two bevels for angled use on the floor or as a stage monitor (US: floor wedge), and multiple inset M8 flying points let you suspend or array the speakers. The CUBA-6A ships with a mounting bracket, so wall fixing is straightforward. It suits DJs, bands, presentations and general sound reinforcement where you want clean, high-energy sound from a compact box.
