Description

The Citronic CUBA-6 is a passive full-range PA speaker cabinet built for professional sound reinforcement. The enclosure is made from MDF finished with a hard-wearing polyurea coating, topped with a powder-coated steel grille that protects the drivers on the road and on stage. Custom designed low-frequency and high-frequency drivers work with the tuned enclosure to give a balanced output across the frequency range, so you get clear highs and a solid low end from a single box.

Connections sit on the rear panel, with either two Speakon sockets or a single Speakon paired with 4mm binding posts depending on the model, so you can link additional speakers along a run. Two side handles make the cabinet easier to lift and position, and a 35mm pole-mount socket lets you fit it onto a speaker stand (tripod). The back of the cabinet has two different bevels, which allow angled placement at ground level or for suspended arraying, and multiple M8 flying points are inset for rigging. Each CUBA-6 is supplied with a U-bracket.

Rated at 8 Ohms, the CUBA-6 pairs well with Citronic PLX, D-series and H-series amplifiers (amps). It sits alongside the larger CUBA-8 and CUBA-10 in the same range, so you can match cabinets to the size of the room or event. Whether you are covering live music, mobile DJ work or fixed installs, the CUBA-6 gives you a rugged, flexible option for high-power PA setups.

It is a passive cabinet, so it needs an external power amplifier. We recommend Citronic PLX, D-series or H-series amps.

What impedance is the CUBA-6?

The CUBA-6 is rated at 8 Ohms. Check your amplifier's minimum load before wiring speakers in parallel.

What connectors does it use?

The rear panel has either two Speakon sockets, or a single Speakon with 4mm binding posts, depending on the model. This lets you link on to further speakers.

Can I mount it on a stand or fly it?
