Description

The Citronic CUBA-15SA is a high output active subwoofer cabinet with a built-in amplifier, rated at 800W rms. A single high energy sub frequency driver is powered by a fixed DSP-controlled class-D amplifier, which develops high sound pressure output and reproduces heavy dynamics accurately. It gives body to a full range PA system and handles fast attacking sub content well.

The cabinet is built from 15mm MDF and coated in a durable textured polyurea material, with a powder coated steel grille protecting the driver. A carry handle is built into each side of the cabinet, and there is a top mounted 35mm pole socket so you can pole-mount a top cabinet above it. This makes it straightforward to run alongside a satellite speaker as a compact two-way rig.

We designed the CUBA-15SA to pair with higher output full range cabinets in the Citronic range, or to work as part of any PA system that needs powerful low frequency support. The internal amplifier runs on 100-240Vac via an IEC input, so it accepts a range of mains supplies. The 8 Ohm driver and class-D amp keep the setup simple, with no separate power amp to carry or wire in. If you need portable sub content for mobile discos, small venues or live sound, this cabinet covers the bottom end without much fuss.
