Description
The Citronic CUBA-15 is a passive full-range PA speaker cabinet built for professional sound reinforcement. The wooden enclosure is finished in a hard-wearing polyurea coating, with a powder-coated steel grille protecting the drivers. Inside sits a custom designed high power LF (low frequency) driver paired with an efficient HF (high frequency) compression driver, and the whole enclosure is tuned to give a balanced output across the frequency range.
Connections are handled from the rear panel, which carries either two Speakon sockets or a single Speakon with 4mm binding posts, depending on the model. This lets you link onto additional speakers as your setup grows. Each cabinet has two side handles for carrying and a 35mm pole-mount socket for stand mounting. The rear features two different bevels, so you can angle the cabinet for placement at ground level or set it up for suspended arraying, with multiple M8 flying points inset for rigging.
The CUBA-15 runs at 8 Ohms and works well alongside Citronic PLX, D and H-series amplifiers. It suits a wide range of high power applications, from live music and mobile PA work to fixed installs. The smaller cabinets in the range, the CUBA-6, CUBA-8 and CUBA-10, are supplied with a U-bracket for wall or ceiling fixing, while the 15-inch model is set up for pole and flying use.

Frequently Asked
Is the CUBA-15 active or passive?
It is a passive cabinet, so it needs an external power amplifier. We recommend Citronic PLX, D and H-series amplifiers to drive it.
What is the impedance of the CUBA-15?
The cabinet runs at 8 Ohms, which you should match to your amplifier's output when setting up.
Can I mount the CUBA-15 on a speaker stand?
Yes. It has a 35mm pole-mount socket, so it fits standard speaker poles and tripod stands.
Can the CUBA-15 be flown or rigged?
Yes. Multiple M8 flying points are inset on the cabinet, and the rear bevels let you angle it for ground placement or suspended arraying.
How do I link multiple cabinets together?
The rear panel has either two Speakon sockets or a single Speakon with 4mm binding posts, depending on the version, so you can chain onto additional speakers.
What is the cabinet made from?
The enclosure is MDF with a polyurea coating for durability, and the grille is powder-coated steel.
