Description

The Citronic CUBA-10W is a passive full-range PA speaker cabinet (also called a loudspeaker cabinet) built for professional sound reinforcement. The enclosure is made from MDF finished with a hard-wearing polyurea coating, topped with a powder-coated steel grille to protect the drivers. Inside, custom designed high power LF and HF drivers work with the tuned enclosure to give a balanced output across low, mid and high frequencies. The white finish makes it a good match for venues and events where a lighter look suits the room.

Connections on the rear panel use either 2 x Speakon or a single Speakon with 4mm binding posts, depending on the model, so you can link one cabinet onto another. The impedance is rated at 8 Ohms. For mounting, there is a 35mm pole-mount socket for stand use, plus multiple M8 flying points inset on the cabinet for suspended arraying. Two different bevels on the rear allow angled placement at ground level or when the cabinet is hung. Two side handles make it easier to carry and position, and the CUBA-6, CUBA-8 and CUBA-10 are supplied with a U-bracket.

We recommend running the CUBA-10W with Citronic PLX, D and H-series amplifiers, which suit its high power handling. Being passive, the cabinet has no built-in amp, so you pair it with a separate power amplifier to match your setup. This makes it a flexible choice for install work, live music and general public address across a range of professional situations. The combination of a rugged coated wooden enclosure, steel grille and multiple mounting options means the cabinet copes well with regular use on the road or in a fixed install.
