Description
The Citronic CSR-63 is a rack-mountable mixing console (mixer/mixing desk) that fits full-size features into a slim housing. It gives you 6 mic/line channels and 3 stereo line channels, with each channel offering Gain, 2-band EQ, FX and PAN control alongside a 60mm level fader. The six mono channels accept a mic, line or instrument input and carry individually switchable +48V phantom power, so you can power condenser microphones only where you need it.
For live use, the built-in DSP effects section holds 16 editable 24-bit presets and can be switched in remotely using a foot switch, leaving your hands free at the desk. The balanced XLR main outputs are joined by 2-track in and out, monitor out and headphones out, plus an internal Bluetooth receiver for wireless music playback between sets or during setup. The 24-bit sigma-delta DSP runs at 40kHz, and the mixer keeps THD+N below 0.03% at 1kHz with a 102dB dynamic range.
The unique end panels are the main draw here. Fit them to mount the CSR-63 in a 19-inch rack, where it takes a little under 4U and leaves room to route cables through the rear from the top-mounted connectors. The panels also have adjustable depth fixing, so controls can sit proud of the rack for easy reach or sit deeper for protection. Leave the panels off for free-standing work. The shallow housing depth allows back-to-back mounting with other gear in racks that use rear mounting strips, which makes this a practical choice for both installed and mobile PA systems. It weighs 2.745kg and ships with a 5Vdc adaptor.

Frequently Asked
How many channels does the CSR-63 have?
It has 9 channels in total: 6 mic/line channels using combo XLR/jack inputs and 3 stereo line channels on L(mono)+R jacks.
Can I rack-mount the CSR-63?
Yes. The supplied end panels let you fit it into a 19-inch rack, where it occupies a little under 4U. You can also leave the panels off for free-standing use.
Does it have phantom power?
Yes. Each of the mono XLR inputs has individually switchable +48V phantom power, so you can run condenser microphones on selected channels only.
What effects are built in?
There is a 24-bit DSP effects section with 16 editable presets. You can switch effects in remotely using a foot switch during live performance.
Can I play music wirelessly?
Yes. An internal Bluetooth receiver lets you stream music straight into the mixer for playback without extra cabling.
Why is the housing so shallow?
The shallow depth allows back-to-back mounting with other equipment in racks fitted with rear mounting strips, which saves space in tight installations.
