Description

The Citronic CosmoPAR is a heavy-duty PAR light built around seven bright 40W RGBW COB LEDs. The retro-style snowflake face throws out a wide range of colours, patterns and effects, and when you link several units together they produce a solid wall of colour. That makes it a good fit for stage backgrounds and larger events where you want plenty of output rather than a single narrow beam.

You can run the CosmoPAR in a few ways. It has internal auto, sound-activated and static programs, along with master/slave operation, so it will work on its own without a controller. When you need tighter control, it is DMX-512 compatible across 6, 9, 21 and 30 channel modes, letting you match the level of detail to your rig. Connections are power in and out on twist-and-lock sockets, plus DMX in and out on 3-pin XLR, so you can daisy-chain a row of fixtures cleanly.

Each unit measures 492 x 464 x 147mm and weighs 9.5kg, with a 40° beam angle. It can be freestanding or fixed to truss, a wall or a ceiling using the supplied brackets, and it mounts on a standard speaker stand (also called a lighting stand) with the 853.243UK adaptor, which is sold separately. Power draw is 260W from a 100 to 240Vac supply, and full RGBW output measures 5820 lux at 1m. A carry bag is included to keep it protected in transit.
