Description

The Citronic CORVA-8A is an active PA speaker cabinet built for high SPL output and serious sound reinforcement. It delivers more than twice the power of the CUBA range, making it suited to outdoor events, fixed installations, and large scale professional hire. Inside sits a high power Class-D amplifier paired with a specially developed heavy duty 8-inch driver, so you get plenty of level without adding a separate amp to the setup.

The enclosure is made from sturdy plywood with a polyurea finish, which stands up well to regular transport and outdoor use. Rigging is straightforward thanks to 12 x M8 flying points, and a 35mm pole socket lets you mount the cabinet on a speaker pole (US: speaker stand) or stack it. This gives you flexible options whether you are hanging the cabinet from a truss or setting it up on the ground.

Sound is shaped through menu driven DSP with a colour display, so you can reach EQ, dynamics, and gain settings quickly on site. A USB-PC interface lets you edit, test, and save custom DSP profiles from a computer for more detailed control. Connections include two mic/line inputs on combined XLR/6.3mm (1/4-inch) sockets, an aux input on 3.5mm, and an XLR line output for linking further cabinets. The result is a rugged, powerful cabinet that keeps its settings and holds up to demanding use.
