Description

The Citronic CASA-28BA is a compact, slim active subwoofer built for mobile and fixed sound reinforcement. It houses two 200mm (8") woofers driven by an internal 400W rms class-D amplifier, with preset DSP control filtering low frequencies accurately to the amplifier section. Peak output reaches 1400W and maximum SPL is 122dB, giving you solid low-end support without needing a separate outboard amp.

Connection is straightforward. A line level input arrives via balanced XLR or 6.3mm jack, and there's a balanced XLR line output for cascading the signal on to further active cabinets. On the rear you get a master level control, a Boost switch to lift the gain, and a phase switch to correct time-alignment or out-of-phase situations. The frequency response runs from 55 to 150Hz, so it sits neatly under a full-range top.

The cabinet is made from 15mm MDF with a durable polyurea finish, and includes an integral carry handle plus a 35mm pole mount socket. Lay it flat to take a 35mm pole and mount a full-range speaker on top, or stand it upright for a smaller footprint. The compact dimensions of 475 x 450 x 250mm and 15.7kg weight also make it easy to tuck behind or under furnishings in an install. It runs on 230Vac mains via an IEC inlet.
