Description
We built the Citronic 2R-2XM300 for anyone joining RCA phono outputs to balanced XLR inputs, whether you are wiring a mixer into a PA system or linking studio gear. It gives you two RCA plugs (also called phono connectors) at one end and two male XLR connectors at the other, over a 3.0m run that suits most fixed and mobile setups.
The cable is twinned high-grade wire with pure copper conductors, 12 strands at 0.1mm each per core, which keeps signal loss low and sound clean. Cotton reinforcement adds strength inside, while the soft-grip, anti-tangle, rubberised jacket makes the lead easy to coil and store. Each core measures 5mm in diameter, sitting side by side in a 5 x 10mm profile.
Connections are machine-soldered to the die-cast XLR male plugs and RCA plugs, so joints stay solid through repeated use. The shielded design helps reject interference, giving reliable performance in busy stage and studio environments. It is a straightforward, hard-wearing lead you can fit and forget, backed by Citronic's Classic Audio range of connection cables.
