Description

This Citronic audio lead connects two 6.3mm mono jack plugs to two male XLR connectors over a 3 metre run. It's built for the kind of routing work you meet on stage and in the studio, taking a pair of jack outputs from a mixer or instrument through to XLR inputs on powered speakers, amplifiers or a further mixer. The 6.3mm jack is often called a quarter-inch jack, and both terms refer to the same plug here.

The cable itself is a twin type, 5mm in diameter with each core measuring 5 x 10mm. Inside, the conductors are 2 x 12 strand, 0.1mm pure copper, which keeps signal loss down over the length of the run. The XLR connectors are die-cast for strength, and every connection is machine-soldered for consistency. Cotton reinforcement runs through the cable, and the outer jacket is a soft-grip rubberised finish that resists tangling and holds up to repeated coiling and packing.

Shielding helps keep interference out, which matters when you're running balanced XLR alongside other signal and mains cabling. The result is a reliable lead you can leave in a rig or throw in a gig bag without worrying about it. At 3 metres it suits most short to mid-length runs between a mixer and nearby equipment. If you need a different length or connector layout, we stock other leads across the Citronic range.
