The Chord TD6-BZ is a small steel tongue drum with eight tuned tongues cut into a lotus petal shape across the top. You can play it with your fingers or with sticks, making it flexible for different players and settings. The tongues are numbered by note, so working out melodies is straightforward whether you read music or not. At 90mm tall and 150mm across, it sits comfortably on a lap or a table, and it weighs just 570g so it travels easily.

The eight notes are tuned to a major scale, which keeps things sounding pleasant even when you play at random.
