Description

The Chord S6-DZB Sundown is a Western style electro-acoustic guitar (electro-acoustic in the UK, acoustic-electric in the US) finished in Dark Zebrano. The body uses a Linden laminate with an exotic wood veneer in a high gloss finish, which brings out the woodgrain across the front. A venetian cutaway gives you easier access to the upper frets, so the higher positions stay within reach when you need them.

Fitted to the body is an active 3-band EQ with an inbuilt tuner and a phase switch, giving you control over your sound whether you plug in for a live set, a studio session or writing at home. The preamp runs from a 9V PP3 battery. The neck is Okoume and holds an HPL composite fingerboard with 20 low profile frets, and the bridge is also HPL composite. Scale length is 648mm and the nut width is 43mm, so it sits comfortably for a wide range of playing styles.

Hardware includes an ABS saddle and nut, plus 3-a-side chrome die-cast tuning machine heads to help keep it in tune. The guitar weighs 2.44kg and measures 1035 x 390 x 135mm.
