Description

The Chord DP-2 is a digital drum practice pad built for solo practice and technique work. You can sit it on a desktop or mount it to a snare drum stand, then play with standard drum sticks. It suits drummers at every level, whether you're finding your feet or refining what you already know.

A built-in metronome gives you audio prompts or spoken word beat counts, played through the integral speaker or a headphone output for quieter sessions. Each strike on the pad is detected, and this works alongside the internal modes to give you interactive rhythm training. You can pick time signatures and beat types as needed across a wide tempo range from 40bpm to 208bpm, with everything shown clearly on the built-in LCD screen.

Power comes from an internal 1300mA Li-ion rechargeable battery, so there's no need to keep it plugged in while you play. When it runs low, recharge it via USB type-C (5V 2A) using the supplied lead, with a full charge taking around two hours. At 270 x 240 x 27mm and 726g, it's compact enough to keep on a desk or pack away between practice sessions.
