The Chord DMH-13 is a 13 inch mesh drum head made for players who want to practise without filling the room with sound. In place of a solid coated or clear film, it uses a tensile nylon mesh that keeps the natural feel of a drum head while cutting the volume right down. That makes it a sensible pick for late night sessions, shared houses and any setting where a full acoustic kit would be too loud.

The mesh construction gives a muted response with plenty of stick rebound, so your playing stays close to how it feels on a standard head. This head is also a good match for electronic kits, where a mesh surface works with a trigger to register your hits quietly.
