Description

The Chord DLM-35 is a lavalier tie-clip microphone (also known as a lapel mic) made for use with wireless beltpack transmitters. It uses an omni-directional pickup pattern, so it picks up sound evenly from all directions around the capsule. That makes it a practical choice for presentations, interviews, filming and worship settings where you want a small mic that stays out of the way while still capturing clear speech.

Connection is through a threaded 3.5mm mono jack, which screws securely into the transmitter to stop it working loose during a session. It's designed to work with Chord, Citronic and QTX beltpack transmitters running on VHF and UHF systems. The threaded connector also fits most laptop mic inputs, so you can use the same mic for video calls, recording or straightforward voice capture at a desk.

The small capsule and included tie clip let you fix the mic discreetly to a shirt, jacket or lapel. Because it's omni-directional, positioning is forgiving: you don't need to aim it precisely at the mouth to get usable sound, and small head movements won't cause the level to drop away. If you already run a compatible beltpack setup, the DLM-35 gives you a low-profile spare or replacement mic without changing your existing kit.
