Description

We put together the Chord CGS-HT as a complete six string set for classical guitar, made from high quality nylon. It covers everything you need to restring in one go, so you're not left hunting for a missing string partway through the job.

The three bass strings are wound with silver-plated copper, which gives them a warm tone and a bit of extra body under your fingers. The three treble strings are plain nylon. Together they suit standard classical and Spanish-style guitars, and they're a sensible choice whether you're replacing a worn set or keeping a spare set in your case.

Nylon strings are gentler on the fingertips than steel, which makes them a good fit for newer players as well as those who've spent years at it. As with any fresh set, expect a short settling-in period while the nylon stretches and holds its pitch. Once bedded in, they hold tuning well and see you through plenty of practice and playing time.
