Description

The CCB90 is our contemporary electric bass, built around a compact, contoured basswood body finished in metallic red. The body is bolted to a maple neck using a deep-cut joint, and the extended neck pocket helps give you greater sustain. It's a comfortable instrument to hold, with a balanced, contoured shape that sits well whether you're standing or seated.

The neck carries an HPL rosewood fingerboard with 24 large frets and a 41mm nut width, so there's plenty of room to move. The scale length is 865mm, and the ultra-compact headstock holds four closed geared tuning machines for stable tuning. Wiring runs to two volume controls and a single master tone, letting you blend the pickups to taste. A single coil sits alongside a split coil humbucker with twinned polepieces, and both feed into a chrome-plated bridge.

That pickup layout makes the CCB90 flexible across playing styles. It handles slap just as happily as fingerstyle or pick playing, so it works for a wide range of players and settings. At 3.34kg it stays manageable through longer sessions, and all the woods come from sustainable sources. Overall dimensions are 315 x 1160 x 60mm, making it a practical size for both practice and stage use. It's a straightforward, well-rounded bass guitar for anyone building their sound.
