Description
The Chord CB-15BT is a compact combo amplifier built for bass guitar. It pairs a 15W amplifier section with a custom voiced 165mm (6.5") driver, giving you the low end needed to reproduce the deeper frequencies a bass instrument puts out. The cabinet is closed-back and sturdy, which helps keep the sound tight and controlled. It works well as a practice or recording amp for all types of bass guitar.
A built-in Bluetooth receiver lets you stream backing tracks or songs straight from your phone or tablet, so you can play along without any extra kit. The 3-band EQ gives you control over bass, mid and treble, letting you shape your tone to suit the room or the track you are working through. There is also a headphone socket (called a phones jack in some setups) for quiet, personal practice when you would rather not fill the room with sound.
Connections are kept simple, with a guitar input and a headphone output on board. The amp runs from a standard 230Vac mains supply via an IEC lead, and at 4.04kg it is light enough to move between rooms or take along to rehearsals. Measuring 270 x 260 x 165mm, it takes up little space on a desk or floor. If you want a straightforward, honest bass amp for home use and recording, the CB-15BT covers the basics without fuss.
