Description

The Cherub CGC-1 Gemini is a guitar capo built to fit a wide range of guitars from a single unit. It comes with three removable clamp sleeves, each carrying two radius curves. That gives you six fingerboard profiles to choose from, so you can match the capo to the curve of your fretboard rather than settling for a rough fit. Whether you play a flat classical neck or something with more of a curve, one of the six options should sit close to right.

Setting up is straightforward. The adjustment wheel lets you dial in the tension against your neck thickness, so you can find the right amount of pressure to hold the capo firmly without pressing the strings out of tune. A quick-release mechanism means a simple squeeze is all it takes to move or remove the capo, which is handy mid-song or between takes. Swap the sleeve, set the tension, and you are ready to play.

One capo covering many guitars keeps things simple if you own more than one instrument or play different body styles. The Gemini measures 86 x 70 x 16mm and weighs 70g, so it is small enough to keep in a case pocket or gig bag. If you have found a single fixed capo never quite fits your fingerboard (also called a fretboard), the adjustable sleeves here give you room to get it closer to how you want it.

Frequently Asked

How many fingerboard profiles does it fit?

Six. The capo ships with three removable clamp sleeves, and each sleeve has two radius curves, giving you six different fingerboard profiles to choose from.

Can I adjust the tension?

Yes. An adjustment wheel sets the tension against your neck thickness, so you can find the pressure that holds the capo in place without pulling the strings out of tune.

How do I move or remove the capo quickly?

It uses a quick-release mechanism. A simple squeeze is all you need to reposition or take off the capo.

Will it fit both acoustic and classical guitars?

The six radius options cover a wide range of guitar types, from flatter classical necks to more curved profiles. Choose the sleeve that best matches your fretboard.

How heavy is it and what size is it?

It measures 86 x 70 x 16mm and weighs 70g, small enough to keep in a case pocket or gig bag.
