Description

The Carisbrooke is a 3-light chandelier with curved metal arms finished in black, each arm supporting an E14 candle socket set into an ivory-coloured candle tube. The arms are connected by hand-bound wire drapes that loop between the arms, creating a gothic-influenced silhouette that works in traditional, country and transitional interiors. The fitting measures 470mm diameter and 405mm body height.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and bedrooms where a decorative centrepiece is needed without overwhelming the room, the Carisbrooke suits ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The chain-hung configuration allows the drop to be adjusted between 470mm and 1105mm on installation, letting the chandelier sit 700-900mm above a dining table or higher in a double-height hallway. The fitting also includes a flush convert system that lets it be fitted as a semi-flush ceiling light where headroom is restricted, removing the chain entirely and bringing the body closer to the ceiling.

The black powder-coated finish on the metal frame pairs with the ivory candle tubes to create contrast between the structure and the light sources. The hand-bound wire drapes are a feature of the Carisbrooke range and give the fitting a handcrafted quality that differentiates it from mass-produced pressed-metal chandeliers. The three E14 sockets take standard small Edison screw candle bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately), allowing flexibility to choose warm-white LED, clear filament or flame-tip bulbs depending on the interior style.
