Description
The Brammoor ring pendant sets six gloss white glass globes on a slim satin brushed gold frame, so the light comes from a circle rather than a single point. The ring measures 595mm across and the drop adjusts from 300mm all the way to 1620mm, which covers a low ceiling and a stairwell equally well. Six G9 lampholders each take a 3W LED bulb, giving even light around the whole circle. At 2.8kg the fitting is light for its size, and the IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms.
A round pendant light suits a round or square table better than a long bar does, and the open frame keeps a small dining room from feeling closed in. We would also use it in a hallway with height, at the turn of a staircase, or over a bedroom seating corner. The opal glass diffuses each bulb into a soft ball of light, so the fitting stays comfortable to sit under. Its wide adjustment means you can hang it low as a feature or lift it clear of head height in a walkway.
The ring, ceiling plate and lamp cups are metal in satin brushed gold, a warm finish with a brushed grain that shows fingerprints far less than a polished one. The glass is gloss white and wipes clean with a barely damp cloth, dried straight away, while the metal only needs a dry soft cloth. It is a Class 2 fitting, so no earth is required at the ceiling. The Brammoor range carries the same opal globes through a wider ten light pendant, a linear pendant and a floor lamp if you want the look repeated in one room.

Frequently Asked
What are the globes made from?
Gloss white glass, held on a metal ring, ceiling plate and lamp cups in satin brushed gold.
How wide is it?
The ring is 595mm across, with a drop that adjusts from 300mm to 1620mm.
Which bulbs does it need?
Six G9 capsules at 3W each in LED.
How do I keep the finish looking right?
Dust the brushed gold with a dry soft cloth and wipe the glass with a barely damp cloth, drying it at once. Avoid sprays and abrasives.
Will it work with a dimmer?
It is not dimmable, so we would wire it to an ordinary switch.
Can it hang in a stairwell?
Yes, as long as the space is dry and indoors. The drop extends to 1620mm and the fitting is rated IP20.
