This USB Type-C extension cable adds an inline power switch to your setup, so you no longer need to pull the connector out of your device every time you want to power up, power down or reset. It runs from a USB Type-C socket to a USB Type-C plug, giving you a short extension that sits neatly beside whatever you have plugged in.

The switch has a solid click-on, click-off action and sits in the middle of the 25cm lead. That mid-cable position keeps the button within easy reach when the cable is connected, which is handy for anything you power cycle often. The cable measures 3.5mm in diameter, so it stays tidy on a desk or workbench without adding bulk.

We find this cable works well with the Raspberry Pi 4 model B, along with laptops, tablets, smart phones and other USB Type-C devices. Please note it may not be compatible with some PD (Power Delivery) and QC (Quick Charge) power supplies and devices, so check your requirements before ordering if you rely on fast charging.
