The AV:Link PowerBand is a neckband Bluetooth earphone set built for busy days at home, at work or out and about. Bluetooth v5.0 handles the wireless connection with a range of up to 10m in clear line of sight, and the design is IPX4-rated splashproof, so a bit of rain or sweat during outdoor activity won't be a problem. Each earpiece comes with detachable earhooks and three sizes of earbud (US: eartip), so you can match the fit to the shape of your ear.

Battery life runs to around 12 hours from a single charge, and the fast charge facility gives you up to 6.5 hours of use from just 15 minutes on the cable when you run short. The earbuds are magnetic and sit on a ribbon cable, which clips them together for tangle-free storage when you're not listening. Inline controls let you adjust volume, skip tracks and take hands-free calls using the built-in mic. There's also a vibration motor that alerts you to an incoming call when the earbuds aren't in your ears.

The drivers cover a 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response with 95dB sensitivity and 32 Ohm impedance, powered by a 140mAh lithium ion battery. The whole set weighs 28g, so it stays light around the neck through longer wear. The PowerBand works with both iOS and Android devices and comes supplied with a soft carry pouch to keep everything together between uses, plus the full set of earbud sizes so you can find the right seal.

Are these earphones waterproof?

They carry an IPX4 splashproof rating, which covers rain and sweat during outdoor activities. They aren't rated for full immersion, so don't submerge them in water.

How long does the battery last?

You get up to 12 hours of playback from a single charge. A full charge takes around 45 minutes, and a 15 minute fast charge gives you up to 6.5 hours of use.

Will they work with my phone?

Yes. The PowerBand uses Bluetooth v5.0 and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices within a range of up to 10m in clear line of sight.

Can I take phone calls with them?

Yes. There's an inline hands-free mic for calls, plus volume and track controls. A built-in vibration motor alerts you to incoming calls when the earbuds aren't in use.

How do I keep the cable from tangling?

The earbuds are magnetic and sit on a ribbon cable, so they clip together and store flat. A soft carry pouch is supplied to keep them safe between uses.
