Description

The AV:Link PBH10-BLK is a pair of wireless Bluetooth headphones (US: earphones) built for listening on the move. You pair them with your phone or tablet over Bluetooth V3.0 and control your music using the MP3 function keys on the edge of the earcup, with a range of up to 10 metres in clear line of sight. There is also a 3.5mm stereo jack if you prefer a wired connection, so you have a fallback when the battery runs low.

Alongside Bluetooth streaming, these headphones play MP3 and WAV files directly from a micro SD card of up to 32GB, and there is a built-in FM radio for local stations. A built-in microphone handles hands free calls. Sound comes from 40mm dome drivers with a 12Hz to 22kHz frequency response, 108dB/mW sensitivity and 32 Ohm impedance, backed by dynamic bass. The noise cancelling effect helps cut low background rumble from planes and trains, which makes them useful on public transport.

Power comes from an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery, charged over micro USB. You get up to 4 hours of Bluetooth playback and up to 8 hours from SD card playback. At 142g they are light, and the earcups fold flat for compact storage in the supplied carry pouch. The full folded footprint measures 190 x 150 x 70mm, so they slip easily into a bag for travel or the daily commute.
