Description

This is a standard high speed HDMI lead with Ethernet, fitted with a plug to plug (male to male) connector at each end. It measures 5.0m in length, giving you room to reach between a TV and a source device such as a games console, set top box or Blu-ray player without stretching the cable. The nickel plated connectors help maintain a solid connection and resist corrosion over time.

Built to the HDMI 1.4 standard, the lead carries both high definition video and audio down a single cable. It supports the input and output protocol for major 3D video formats, so it works with 3D capable displays and sources. The Ethernet channel lets compatible devices share a network connection through the HDMI link, which can reduce the number of cables running behind your setup.

The audio return channel (ARC) is another useful feature. It sends audio back from your TV to a soundbar or AV receiver along the same cable, so you do not need a separate audio lead for that job. The 5.0m version is supplied loose rather than in the retail sealed bag used for shorter lengths. If 5.0m is more than you need, shorter runs in the same range keep signal paths tidy and avoid excess slack.
