Description

This AV:Link coaxial flylead runs from an F-type plug to an F-type plug over a 10 metre length. It is a standard coaxial cable for connecting satellite receivers, cable boxes and other equipment that uses screw-on F connectors. The plugs at each end thread directly onto the matching sockets, so you get a firm fit without loose push-on ends working their way free.

The cable has a 4.5mm outer diameter and a 75Ω impedance, which is the standard for satellite and cable TV signal work. Inside sits a 0.5mm copper core with a 16 x 0.10mm braid for screening, helping keep the signal clean along the run. At 10 metres, this length suits situations where the dish or wall point sits some distance from the receiver.

F-type connectors are used across satellite and cable installations in both the UK and US, so the same lead works with common equipment on either side. This 10 metre version is supplied without the retail sealed bag that the shorter leads come in.
