This AV:Link Cat6 patch lead (patch cable) connects RJ45 plug to RJ45 plug and measures 2.0m, giving you a reliable wired link between your networking gear. It uses stranded copper conductors rated at 25AWG, with a 7 x 0.18mm core construction that keeps the cable flexible while carrying your data.

The lead supports frequencies up to 250 MHz and handles high-speed data transmission of up to 1,000Mbps, or 1Gbps. It's built for uniform impedance, very low return loss and a higher signal-to-noise ratio, which all help keep your connection steady. The snag-less design protects the clip when you plug and unplug, so the connector holds firm over time.

You can use this UTP (unshielded twisted pair) cable with PCs, printers, servers, routers and switch boxes, and it stays fully backwards compatible with your existing network. That makes it a straightforward swap or addition whether you're setting up a home office or extending an office run. The overall cable diameter is 6.0mm, and shorter lengths are supplied in a retail-friendly sealed bag.
