Description

Our AV:Link Cat6 UTP patch lead connects two devices over an RJ45 plug to RJ45 plug run of 10 metres. It uses a stranded copper conductor rated at 7x0.18mm (25AWG), which keeps the cable flexible and easy to route around desks, racks and skirting. The design is snag-less, so the connectors slot in and pull out without catching on the retaining clip.

This lead supports frequencies up to 250 MHz and handles high-speed data transmission of up to 1,000Mbps (1Gbps), which covers gigabit home and office networks. We built it for uniform impedance, low return loss and a good signal-to-noise ratio, all of which help keep your connection steady over the full 10 metre length. The core diameter is 7x0.18mm and the overall cable diameter is 6.0mm.

You can use it with PCs, printers, servers, routers, switch boxes and more, and it stays fully backwards compatible with your existing network kit. This is a UTP (unshielded twisted pair) patch lead, sometimes called a patch cable or Ethernet lead. Shorter lengths in the range are supplied in a retail friendly sealed bag, so they arrive tidy and ready to plug in.
