This AV:Link lead connects two RCA phono plugs to two RCA phono plugs, giving you a straightforward stereo audio link between two devices. RCA connectors are also known as phono plugs in the UK, so if you have seen either term used for your kit, this is the same fitting. The 1.2m length suits most desktop and shelf setups where the two units sit close together.

The cable is a 2.6mm diameter screened twin audio type, with each core measuring 10 x 0.10mm. The screening helps keep interference out of the signal, which matters when you are running a stereo pair between an amplifier, receiver, turntable preamp or similar source. The two plugs are colour coded so you can match left and right correctly at both ends without guesswork.
