Description

The Annie is a 3-light wall light built on a steel frame finished in a heavy textured plaster white coating that gives the appearance of hand-applied render. Three curved arms rise from a circular wall plate, each terminating in a shallow dish drip tray and an E14 candle bulb holder. The textured finish adds visible surface variation that catches light differently across the day, preventing the white from appearing flat.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living areas where soft ambient light is preferred over directed task lighting, the Annie suits coastal, Mediterranean and country cottage interiors. The 610mm vertical spread and 257mm width work in spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, positioned either side of a bed, flanking a hallway mirror, or as a singular accent on a feature wall. The 127mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting clear of furniture placed against the wall.

Each of the three arms accepts E14 bulbs up to 40W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose the colour temperature and bulb style that suits the room. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K for a soft glow through frosted glass, or clear filament bulbs for a more traditional candle-flame aesthetic. The steel construction under the plaster coating provides structural rigidity while the textured finish hides minor scuffs and marks that would show on a smooth painted surface.

What bulbs does the Annie take?

The fitting takes three E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for a soft ambient glow.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

The Annie carries no IP rating and is not suitable for bathroom zones 1 or 2 where direct water contact or high humidity is present. It can be used in zone 3 (areas more than 600mm from a water source) or in well-ventilated bathrooms where moisture levels remain low.

Is the textured finish smooth or rough to touch?

The plaster white coating has a heavy texture that feels slightly rough to touch, similar to a rendered wall finish. The texture is deliberate and part of the coastal, handcrafted aesthetic rather than a defect.

How is the fitting wired?

The Annie is hardwired to the mains through the circular wall plate. Installation requires a qualified electrician to connect to standard UK 230V wiring behind the wall. No plug or external transformer is involved.
