Description

The Alton is a 674mm LED picture light in white with an integrated 11.6W LED running at 3000K colour temperature. A curved arm holds the horizontal tube above the wall-mounted backplate, allowing the light to be angled to illuminate artwork, mirrors or collections hung beneath it. The white powder-coat finish matches standard white walls and gallery settings, keeping the fitting itself out of focus.

Designed for artworks between 60-90cm wide, the Alton suits framed prints, oil paintings, canvas pieces and mirrors in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and home offices. The 211mm projection from the wall positions the tube far enough forward to wash light evenly down the surface of the artwork without creating hotspots or glare on glazed frames. The 3000K LED provides warm white light that renders colours naturally without the yellow cast of older halogen picture lights.

The integrated LED draws 11.6W and delivers long-life operation without bulb replacement. The white finish on the metal housing and arm recedes visually against white or light-coloured walls, and the cylindrical tube design keeps the profile low so the fitting does not compete with the artwork for attention. The arm adjusts on installation to set the angle of light, and once positioned it stays in place without drift.
