Description
The Adastra UM90 is a 100V mixer-amplifier built into a very small housing, aimed at small to medium PA installations where space is tight. It uses a class D amplifier design with a transformer output, so you can run it into either a 100V line system or an 8 Ohm speaker load. The mono output connects through screw terminals on the rear panel, and the unit ships with hardware for mounting two amplifiers side by side in a single 1U 19-inch rack space.
Audio sources are handled by a built-in USB/FM/BT player, so you can play files from a USB stick, tune the FM radio, or stream over Bluetooth 5.0. The Bluetooth section supports a programmable ID, which helps when you are running more than one unit in the same building. Physical inputs cover a 6.3mm microphone socket, a stereo RCA line input and a 3.5mm aux input. Each source, the microphone, line and the USB/FM/BT section, has its own front panel volume control, with a master volume governing the overall level.
Power comes from either 170-264Vac mains via an IEC connector or a 24Vdc supply through screw terminals, so the amplifier can be backed up or run from DC where needed. There are 24V relay contacts for mute, along with a stereo RCA line output (mono signal) for feeding a further amplifier or recording device. Rated THD is under 0.4% at 1kHz, with a frequency response of 100Hz to 18kHz, an input impedance of 1k Ohms on mic and line, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 80dB on line and 75dB on mic.

Frequently Asked
Can the UM90 drive both 100V line and low impedance speakers?
Yes. The mono output connects via rear screw terminals and works with either a 100V line system or an 8 Ohm speaker load, so you can match it to most small PA setups.
What audio sources are built in?
It has an internal player covering USB, FM radio and Bluetooth 5.0 streaming. Each is controlled from the front panel alongside the mic and line inputs.
How is the UM90 powered?
You can run it from 170-264Vac mains at 50Hz through the IEC input, or from a 24Vdc supply via screw terminals for battery backup or DC installations.
Can I rack mount two units together?
Yes. Because of its ultra compact size, the UM90 ships with hardware to mount two units side by side in a single 1U 19-inch rack space.
What inputs does it have for microphones and external sources?
There is one 6.3mm microphone input, one stereo RCA line input and one 3.5mm aux input. A mono RCA line output is also provided for feeding another device.
What is the programmable Bluetooth ID for?
It lets you give each unit a unique Bluetooth name, which is useful when you have several amplifiers in the same space and need to pair with the right one.
