Description

The Adastra SL3 is a pair of slimline ceiling speakers built around a 3" hi-flex main driver for full range output with extended low frequency response. The flared baffle spreads sound across a wide 160-degree dispersion angle, so you get even coverage across a room rather than a single fixed listening spot. An efficient 2-way crossover network keeps the sound balanced across the frequency range.

Fitting is quick. The SL3 uses two spring clips that clamp against the ceiling material once you have cut the hole, so you don't need extra brackets or fixings. The result is a low, understated profile that sits close to the ceiling line. Gold-plated spring terminals take the speaker cable and hold it securely, and they resist tarnishing over time for a reliable connection.

Wired at 8 ohms, the SL3 works with most standard home and light commercial amplifiers. The speakers are supplied in pairs, ready to go straight into a stereo or multi-room setup. If you need more output or a larger driver, the same SL range steps up to the 5.25" SL5 and 6.5" SL6 models, which add a mylar tweeter and use 'dog-ear' mounts for higher frequency detail. The SL3 keeps things simple where a discreet, compact speaker is the priority.
