Description
The Adastra S260-WIFI is a compact class-D amplifier that puts internet streaming, Bluetooth and wired sources into one small box. It delivers up to 2 x 60W into 4 ohms, or 2 x 30W into 8 ohms, driving a pair of speakers through L and R binding posts. WiFi (802.11b/g/n) or wired LAN handles the streaming side, while Bluetooth 5.0 covers quick wireless playback from a phone or tablet. There is also a USB input for stored tracks, an optical digital input, and a line input (RCA) for a TV, CD or DVD player.
Control runs through the free WiiM Home app for Android or iOS, which lets you play music, podcasts and internet radio from stations worldwide. Because streaming is embedded in the unit, playback carries on even after your phone disconnects, so playlists from subscription services keep running without the phone staying on the network. The MediaTek MT7688 processor supports sampling up to 192kHz, 24-bit. A line output is included for feeding additional amplifiers or active speakers when you need to cover more than one area.
This is a practical background music solution for bars, cafes, restaurants, reception areas and house parties, where you want continuous playback with little fuss once it is set up. The unit measures 150 x 122 x 44mm and weighs 494g, so it sits neatly out of the way or on a shelf. Power comes from the included in-line 24Vdc, 3A adaptor with a C7 lead and UK plug, meaning everything you need to get running is in the box.

Frequently Asked
How much power does the S260-WIFI produce?
It provides up to 2 x 60W RMS into 4 ohms, or 2 x 30W RMS into 8 ohms, and works with 4 or 8 ohm speakers connected via L and R binding posts.
Which app controls the amplifier?
It uses the free WiiM Home app for Android or iOS. From there you can stream music, podcasts and internet radio, and manage playlists from subscription services.
Does streaming stop when I disconnect my phone?
No. Streaming is embedded in the unit, so internet radio and playlists keep playing even after your phone leaves the network.
What other inputs are available besides WiFi?
Alongside WiFi and LAN, you get Bluetooth 5.0, a USB player, an optical digital input and a line input (RCA) for a TV, CD or DVD player.
Is a power supply included?
Yes. An in-line 24Vdc, 3A adaptor is supplied with a C7 lead and UK plug, so no separate power supply is needed.
Can I connect extra speakers or amplifiers?
Yes. A line output lets you feed additional amplifiers or active speakers, which is useful for covering more than one area.
