Description

The Adastra RC18U450 is an 18U 19" rack cabinet with a 450mm mounting depth, built for professional rack-mount equipment. It's made from 1.2mm cold-rolled steel with folded edges for strength, and finished in an epoxy powder coating in RAL9004. The front and rear rack strips are supplied and mounted to internal rails, so you can adjust the mounting depth to suit equipment with overhanging fittings or to support the rear of heavier units.

The front door is removable and holds a pane of 5mm tempered glass flanked by folded steel edge panels. It can be set to open from either the left or right, and comes with a lock and two keys. Access to the sides is straightforward thanks to clip-in side panels, and the top and bottom feature knock-outs for cable feeds. The top panel is vented for cooling and includes a cut-out for fitting a cooling fan if you need one.

This cabinet works either wall-mounted, using the fixing apertures on the rear panel, or free-standing. It handles a maximum static load of 100kg total and meets ANS/EIA RS-310-D, IEC297-2, DIN41491 and ETSI standards. The cabinet measures 600mm wide and is easy to assemble with adjustable front and rear rack strips. It's available in two depths and a range of rack heights, so you can match it to the equipment you're housing.
