Description

The Adastra LP5V is a 5.25" two-way ceiling speaker built for discreet installations where you want good sound without the hardware drawing attention. It uses a flared baffle and a main driver with a concentric directional tweeter, so the treble sits in line with the mid-bass for even coverage. The dispersion angle is 160 degrees, which helps spread sound across a room rather than pushing it in one direction.

Wiring is flexible thanks to a rotary selector switch on the rear. You can choose from five 100V line volume tappings for distributed systems across several rooms or zones, or switch to 8 Ohms for a standard low-impedance setup. The magnetic frameless grille clips on without visible screws or clips, and it can be painted to match your ceiling colour so the speaker blends into the decor.

Fitting is handled by four "dog-ear" mounts (sometimes called spring clamps or fixing tabs), which grip the edge of the cut-out to hold the speaker firmly in suspended or false ceilings. The low profile design keeps the speaker close to the ceiling line for a tidy finish. Each unit is supplied singly, so you can buy the exact number you need for a room or a larger install. It suits background music, paging and general commercial or domestic audio where a clean look matters.
