Description
This Adastra patch panel gives you 24 RJ45 (8P8C) ports across a 1U rackmount frame, ready for networking over CAT5, CAT5e or CAT6 cabling. It fits a standard 19" rack (also called a cabinet), so it slots into the same setup you use for switches, routers and other gear. The rear IDC connections handle the incoming cable runs, keeping the front tidy for your patch leads.
We designed the sockets in removable blocks of 6, which makes wiring far easier when you are working through a full panel. You can take a block out, punch down the cores, then return it to the frame rather than reaching awkwardly into a fixed row. It is a small change that saves time on install and on any later changes to your network.
The panel comes with cable management bars that have punched tie-down points, plus cable ties for a neat and secure finish. That helps stop strain on the terminations and keeps the run of cabling ordered behind the rack. If you need more capacity, the same range includes a 48-port version. This model suits office networks, AV racks and any structured cabling job where you want RJ45 breakout from bulk cable.
