Description

The Adastra BH4V-B is a 2-way background speaker built for indoor or outdoor use, with an IP44 weather-resistant rating that lets it cope with damp and splashes. It pairs an extended low frequency driver with a dome tweeter through a crossover network, housed in a moulded polypropylene cabinet with an aluminium grille. It runs on 100V line systems or at 16 Ohm, so it fits both distributed installs and standard amplifier setups.

Setup is straightforward. Each speaker comes with a pan and tilt wall mounting bracket that adjusts laterally and sets to various tilt positions, so you can aim the sound where you need it. Spring terminals and a rotary volume tapping switch sit at the rear, both kept behind a protective cover to guard the connections from weather and knocks. With a 120° dispersion angle, one unit spreads sound across a wide area, which keeps the number of speakers needed to a minimum.

This model suits background music and public address (PA) work in cafes, patios, shop fronts, walkways and similar spaces. The moulded cabinet keeps the profile neat while the aluminium grille handles outdoor conditions. Note that the BH4V-B is supplied singly, so order the quantity you need for full coverage. It is finished in black to blend with most wall and ceiling settings.
