Description

The Adastra BC6-W is a pair of 6.5-inch background speakers built for indoor use in shops, cafes, offices and similar spaces. These are 2-way speakers with ABS enclosures and a powder coated steel grille, so they hold up well to everyday knocks and cleaning. The white finish keeps them low-key against most walls and ceilings, and there is a black version if you prefer a darker look.

Each speaker uses a coated paper cone main driver that gives full low and mid-range frequencies. That makes them a sensible choice for both music playback and clear voice announcements, whether you are running background music or paging over the top. The standard 8 Ohm impedance means they work with a normal stereo amplifier, and they are supplied in pairs so you can wire up a left and right channel straight away.

Mounting is handled by the adjustable steel brackets included in the box. You can fit them to a wall or ceiling surface, and there are M6 screw sockets if you want to use your own fixings. One thing to note: connecting leads (speaker cable) are not supplied, so you will need to add your own to suit the run between the amplifier and each speaker. These are an industry standard fit for most light commercial installs.
