Description
The Adastra BC3V-W is a 100V line background speaker built for indoor use in shops, offices, cafes and similar spaces. It uses a two-way design with a crossover network, pairing a coated paper cone main driver with a tweeter so you get full-sounding low and mid-range frequencies alongside clear high notes. That balance suits both music playback and voice announcements, making it a sensible choice where you need one speaker to handle both jobs.
The enclosure is moulded from ABS with a powder-coated steel grille, and its trapezoidal shape lets you tuck it neatly into corners or angle it for directional coverage. A wall mounting bracket (US: wall mount) is supplied in the box, and there are alternative M6 threaded mounting points if you prefer a different fixing method. The bracket is adjustable steel, so you can set it for wall or ceiling surface mounting to suit the room. Connection is via spring terminals, which keeps wiring quick and tidy during installation.
A rotary selector switch on the speaker sets the 100V line power tapping, or lets you run the unit at 8 Ohms if you are wiring it into a low-impedance system instead. This flexibility means the BC3V-W works with the common 100V distributed setups used across larger sites, while still fitting smaller standalone jobs. The speaker is supplied singly, so you can order the exact quantity you need for your layout. Finished in white, it blends into most ceilings and walls without drawing attention.
