Description
The Adastra A4 is a dual stereo PA amplifier built for installers who need to run two separate zones from a single unit. Each zone has its own stereo output, so you can play different audio in two areas at the same time. A rotary switch on each zone selects the source: one of two rear stereo inputs, a front 3.5mm stereo input, or the built-in media player. That gives you plenty of flexibility across bars, restaurants and function rooms without adding extra kit.
The mixer section handles two microphones and a stereo audio source. Mic inputs 1 and 2 stay live to both zones at all times, which makes it easy to route announcements or a compere across the whole venue while background music keeps running. The inbuilt media player reads mp3 tracks from a USB drive or SD card, and there's also a Bluetooth receiver for wireless playback from a phone or tablet. An F-type connection is fitted for the FM tuner aerial (US: antenna).
Power comes from a Class D amplifier stage rated at 4 x 200W, with each channel able to drive up to two 8 Ohm speakers. Speaker connections use 4mm binding posts across all four channels on the rear panel, alongside four RCA line outputs. Per-zone bass and treble controls let you tune each area, and protection covers thermal, over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit. The frequency response runs 20Hz to 20kHz ±0.5dB with THD+N below 0.1%. The unit fits a standard 19-inch rack at 482 x 260 x 88mm and runs from 230Vac mains.

Frequently Asked
Can the A4 play different audio in two rooms at once?
Yes. It has two independent stereo zone outputs, and each zone selects its own source from the rear inputs, front 3.5mm input or the built-in media player.
How many microphones can I connect?
Two microphones via 6.3mm mono jacks. Both mic inputs are live to both output zones at all times, so announcements reach the whole venue.
What playback sources are built in?
A media player for mp3 files from USB drive or SD card, plus a Bluetooth receiver for wireless playback from a phone or tablet.
What speakers can it drive?
Each of the four channels drives up to two 8 Ohm speakers via 4mm binding posts, rated at 200W per channel.
Will it fit a standard rack?
Yes. It measures 482 x 260 x 88mm, which suits a standard 19-inch equipment rack.
Does it have an FM tuner?
Yes, with an F-type aerial (US: antenna) connection on the rear panel.
