Description
This add-on package gives you eight mini EC36V ceiling speakers and a compact 60W US-series 100V slave amplifier, ready to add sound to corridors, washrooms and other smaller areas of a commercial PA system. It is built for installers who already have a main setup running and want to extend audio into extra spaces without starting from scratch. The US-series slave amplifier can be rack mounted in pairs, fixed to a wall or tucked under a worktop, so you can site it wherever suits the room.
The clever part is how the amplifier takes its signal. A US-series slave amplifier can run from an existing 100V speaker feed, so you connect its 100V input to the last speaker in the line as if it were just another speaker, then power the mini ceiling speakers from the amplifier. A 0.5m twin RCA link lead from the mixer or amp output is included, along with 50m of speaker cable to wire everything up. If you need to run further, use a terminal block to extend the cable, and take care never to short the plus and minus together.
Each 3" mini ceiling speaker is compact enough for tight ceiling spaces and low-key installs where you want even coverage without bulky enclosures. Using lower tappings, you can add more speakers to the amplifier, as long as the total combined speaker wattage stays below 90% of its maximum output power. The amplifier, cables and speakers are packed separately for safe transit. Packages are also available with 4 or 12 speakers if this configuration is not the right fit for your project.
