Description

These perforated rack blanking panels fill the empty spaces in your 19" rack, keeping the front looking tidy while letting air move through. Made from powder coated steel in black, each panel bolts across the standard rack rails and covers the gap left by unused rack units. The perforations mean warm air from your equipment can escape rather than being trapped behind a solid face.

Blanking panels do more than cover holes. In a well packed rack, gaps between units let hot exhaust air recirculate back to the intakes of your gear, which pushes running temperatures up. A blanking panel (sometimes called a filler panel in US listings) blocks that path and helps the airflow move front to back the way it should. The ventilated design here keeps that benefit while adding some extra passive cooling through the panel itself.

This is the 2U size, giving you around 88mm of height to work with in your rack. The panels come in four sizes across the range, so you can match whatever gap you need to fill. The powder coated finish resists scuffs and chips better than plain paint, and the black colour sits neatly alongside most rack mounted audio, network and AV equipment.
