Description

This add-on package pairs twelve mini EC36V ceiling speakers with a compact US-series 100V slave amplifier, giving you a straightforward way to add sound to corridors, washrooms and smaller rooms. It works alongside an existing commercial PA system, so you can bring background music or announcements into areas that were left off the original plan without rebuilding the whole setup.

The clever part is how the slave amplifier connects. Its 100V input can accept the existing 100V speaker feed as a signal source, so you simply wire it in as if it were another speaker at the end of the line. The amplifier then powers the twelve 3-inch mini ceiling speakers from its own 90W output. Using the lower tappings, you can run more speakers from the amp, provided the total combined speaker wattage stays below 90% of its maximum output power. The US slave amplifiers can be rack mounted in pairs, wall fixed, or tucked under a worktop.

Everything you need to get running is included. We supply 50m of speaker cable and a 0.5m twin RCA (phono) link lead to take the signal from your mixer or amplifier output. If you need to extend the speaker cable, use a terminal block and take care not to short the positive and negative together. Please note the amplifier, cables and speakers are packed separately for safe transit.
