Description

SL-90 is a multi-purpose lubricating oil built to handle a wide range of temperatures and pressures. We supply it in a 500ml TwinSpray can, which lets you switch between a broad spray and a targeted jet depending on the job. The formula penetrates quickly on application, then thickens to form a tough film that clings to metal surfaces and resists being flung off moving parts.

The addition of PTFE reinforces the oil film and extends the time between reapplications on metal to metal contact. EP (extreme pressure) additives improve high load-carrying capacity, so it holds up under strain rather than squeezing out. Its multi-viscosity behaviour and good anti-fling properties make it suitable for chains, bearings, hinges and other components that see regular movement and load.

SL-90 works across an operating temperature range of −35°C to +200°C, so it stays effective in cold outdoor conditions and near hot machinery alike. A blend of corrosion inhibitors gives durable protection on all types of metal, and the cured film resists water, steam, salt water, acids and alkalis. That makes it a practical choice for marine, workshop and general maintenance use where parts are exposed to moisture and harsh conditions.
