Description

The Zon is a 22cm flush-mount outdoor ceiling light with an integrated 30W LED housed in an IP65-rated black aluminium drum and plastic diffuser. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light at around 2,400 lumens, providing functional illumination for covered patios, entrance porches, carports and external corridors without the cooler tone of 4000K-6000K options.

Designed for ceiling heights of 2.4m and above, the 5.8cm-deep profile sits tight to the ceiling surface, making it suitable for low soffits and covered areas where a pendant or semi-flush fitting would intrude into headroom. The IP65 rating protects the LED module and driver from dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, so the fitting can be installed in exposed positions under overhangs where rain occasionally reaches the ceiling surface. It is not rated for fully exposed installations without overhead shelter.

The black aluminium body resists corrosion in outdoor conditions and the flat circular diffuser spreads light evenly across the ceiling footprint without creating harsh downward shadows. The 80 CRI rendering means colours under the light appear close to natural daylight but with the warmth of 3000K added. The fitting connects to 110-240V AC mains via a fixed terminal block inside the housing, and the LED is non-replaceable — the entire unit is replaced at end of life.

Can this be installed fully exposed to the weather?

No. The IP65 rating protects against dust and water jets, but the Zon is designed for installation under covered areas such as porches, carports and patio ceilings where it has overhead shelter from direct rainfall. Fully exposed installations require IP66 or IP67 ratings.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 30W LED is integrated and non-replaceable. At end of life the entire fitting is replaced. The 3-year warranty covers premature LED or driver failure under normal use.

What is the light output?

A 30W LED at 3000K typically produces around 2,400 lumens depending on driver efficiency. This provides functional illumination for covered outdoor areas of approximately 10-15m² at typical mounting heights of 2.4-2.7m.

How is it wired?

The Zon connects to 110-240V AC mains via a fixed terminal block inside the housing. Installation requires a qualified electrician and compliance with local wiring regulations. A switched supply is recommended for control.
