Vantor 1 Light Alabaster Pendant - Soft White & Brushed Brass

The Vantor is a single-light alabaster pendant with a softly rounded barrel shade cut from natural Spanish alabaster, suspended on a gold fabric flex from a brushed brass lamp holder. The shade carries the soft white tone and warm caramel veining typical of Spanish alabaster, with translucency that lets the bulb glow through the stone rather than firing light directly downward. The fitting takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately).

Sized for tight spaces and grouped arrangements, the compact 100mm shade suits hanging in clusters of three or five over a kitchen island, in a row above a breakfast bar, or as single drops on either side of a bed in place of table lamps. The slim brass holder and exposed fabric flex keep the visual weight at the shade itself, which works in rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings as well as taller spaces where the drop can be lengthened.

Each Vantor shade is cut from a different section of stone, so the veining pattern, density and warmth of tone vary between pieces. The brushed brass holder has a stepped, lightly textured profile that catches light without going mirror-bright, and pairs comfortably with both polished brass and warm-toned timber elsewhere in a room. With its small footprint and quiet detailing, the Vantor reads as a material study rather than a decorative flourish.

What bulb does the Vantor take?

The pendant uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED between 6-9W and 2700K-3000K suits the alabaster best, as cooler temperatures can flatten the natural veining in the stone.

Can the Vantor be hung in clusters?

Yes. The 100mm shade is deliberately compact and works well in groups of three or five at varied drops over a kitchen island or dining table, or in a straight row above a breakfast bar. Each shade is wired separately, so drop heights can be staggered on installation.

Does each pendant look the same?

No. Each shade is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, mineral patterning and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and is most visible when the bulb is lit.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Alabaster is porous and softer than marble, so avoid household cleaning sprays, polishes and damp cloths soaked in tap water. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable.
