Description

The Ripple is a 65cm table lamp built around a cylindrical white resin base with horizontal ribbing that runs the full height of the column. A brushed nickel collar sits at the top and base of the column, separating the resin from the white faux linen hard-backed drum shade. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W, sold separately.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables in hallways, and side tables in living rooms, the Ripple provides ambient task lighting where a ceiling fitting is absent or where layered lighting is needed. The 36cm shade diameter and 65cm overall height suit standard bedside tables without overreaching the edge or casting light into a sleeper's eyes when angled away. The shade diffuses light evenly in all directions rather than focusing it downward.

The ribbed texture on the white resin base catches light and shadow across its surface, giving the lamp a sculptural presence even when switched off. The brushed nickel accents at top and base provide visual weight and prevent the all-white finish from appearing flat. The shade is hard-backed faux linen rather than a loose fabric, so it holds its shape and won't sag over time.

The Ripple takes a standard E27 Edison screw bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for bedside or living room use.

Is the shade removable for bulb changes?

Yes. The shade lifts off the lamp base to access the E27 socket for bulb installation and replacement. The hard-backed construction means the shade retains its shape when removed and replaced.

What surface size does it need?

The 14cm base diameter fits most standard bedside tables and console tables. The shade overhangs to 36cm width, so allow at least 40cm of clear surface space to avoid the shade sitting over the edge.

Can it be used in pairs?

Yes. The Ripple works well in symmetrical pairs on either side of a bed or flanking a sofa. The all-white finish and ribbed texture give enough visual interest to avoid appearing generic when duplicated.
